Honda unveiled the 2027 CRF450RX with a redesigned 449.5cc engine delivering 10% more power and 4% more torque than its predecessor. The bike features a 70% new twin-spar aluminium frame, weighs 103.5kg (5.6kg lighter), and includes a titanium fuel tank, titanium intake and exhaust valves, and new slipper clutch with Back Torque Limiter. Electronics include HRC Launch Control, HSTC, and EMSB. The 18-inch rear wheel is now standard fit.
Why it matters
The CRF450RX gains significant power and substantially lighter weight, improving both performance and handling for off-road riders. Enhanced engine efficiency and new frame geometry represent major mid-cycle updates for this competition-focused model.
